Someone must have produced frequency lists from the words in the BNC. Where can I find them?

The book Word Frequencies in Written and Spoken English: based on the British National Corpus by Geoffrey Leech, Paul Rayson, and Andrew Wilson is your bible. Their frequency lists are available online .

The late Adam Kilgarriff also produced frequency lists from the corpus. You can find a link to them on his web page.
